Meet Brian Charry
Founder Brian Charry has worked with hundreds of club, national and world-level dogs and handlers. That experience — rooted in real IGP work, clear communication and control-first training — is the standard behind every program we offer.
Raised around animal husbandry and training working-line German Shepherds since 2012, Brian founded Charry's Premier K-9 Training in 2017 to bring that world-level standard to everyday dogs and their owners across the Bluegrass.
The Von Charry bloodline
We occasionally have litters of working-line German Shepherds, and from time to time offer started or trained dogs. If you're looking for a working-line GSD — or a started dog with a real foundation — reach out about current availability and future litters. There's no maximum age on training, either: any dog, any breed, any age.
How we train
Every dog is different, so we meet the dog in front of us. We build engagement and confidence first, layer obedience under gradually heavier distraction, and address the negative behaviors that get in the way — always coaching the owner so the results actually last.
